Effect of inhalation of particles released from ultrasonic humidifier on mRNA expression of Ccl2 , and Cxcl1 in the lung. Expression levels of Ccl2 and Cxcl1 in the lung tissues (Experiments 3–5, Table 1) were analyzed by an Mx3000P (Agilent Technologies) with SYBR Green Realtime PCR Master Mix (Toyobo). Relative expression levels of the target genes were calculated for each sample after normalization against Gapdh. Statistical analysis was performed using an unpaired t-test and the level of significance was set at P < 0.05.
