Radicals generated from RAW 264.7 cells (1 × 106/ml) exposed to grouped filter sample welding fume (250 μg/ml) for 10 min at 37°C in a shaking water bath. ESR settings were; center field, 3385 G; scan width, 100 G; time constant, 40 msec; scans, 5; modulation amplitude, 1 G; receiver gain, 2.5 × 104; frequency, 9.793 GHz; and power, 63 mW. Asterisks indicate a significant increase in radicals compared between steel types; (+) indicate significant difference between fume sizes.
