  1. Bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) protein levels (μg/ml) following oropharyngeal aspiration of three forms of MWCNTs at 1μg and 100 μg or SS vehicle control (10% surfactant saline). The protein levels were performed on pooled aliquots of the BALF at 1 day, 7 day and 28 day post aspiration. Data reported as mean ± SEM for n = 4. * indicates significance from SS, † indicates significance from 1 μg dose within the same MWCNT form, P ≤ 0.05.
