Ge-imogolites induce genotoxicity in rat lungs. Wistar rats were intra-tracheally instilled with NaCl (controls), 5 mg WC-Co, 0.02 and 1 mg SW and DW Ge-imogolites. Micronuclei were assessed in isolated AEC-II 3 d after exposure.
