Increased γ-H2AX immunostaining in mouse lungs 7 days after Nano-Co exposure. Mice were instilled intratracheally with 50 μg per mouse of Nano-Co or Nano-TiO2. Control mice were instilled with physiological saline. Lung tissues collected from mice 7 days after exposure were analyzed by H&E staining (a, c, e) and γ-H2AX immunohistochemistry staining (b, d, f). Scale bar: 50 μm
