In utero exposure to UFP induces systemic and intrauterine inflammation. Concentrations of pro-inflammatory cytokine: interleukin-β (IL-β), IL-6 and tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α). The anti-inflammatory cytokines IL-10 and IL-4. Chemokines: neutrophil chemoattractant (KC), macrophage inflammatory protein 2 (MIP-2) and monocyte chemoattractant protein 1 (MCP-1).
