PMs induced collagen deposition and EMT-related protein expression in lung tissues in vivo. WT mice were treated with 200–350 μg/mouse PMs by intratracheal instillation. After 7 or 14 days, the mice were euthanized and lung tissue was collected. a Collagen deposition in lung tissue was determined by Masson’s trichrome staining. Blue: collagen.
