To evaluate the retention rate of CNMs at 24 h, mice were sacrificed at 24 h after a pharyngeal aspiration. Mice were given 30 μg/mouse of CNMs and the concentration of these CNMs in the lungs was quantified using PK digestion and UV-Vis spectrophotometry at each time-point.
