TEM micrographs of GO and CXYG stock suspensions. TEM images of GO stock suspensions (A) demonstrated aggregates/agglomerates of GO nanoplatelets with lateral dimensions in the lower nanometer range. TEM images of CXYG stock suspensions (B) demonstrated comparatively larger, thin sheets. The inserts in the upper right corner of the images show the boxed-in areas at higher magnification. The large round holes visible in both micrographs represent defects in the carbon coating of the copper grid. The scale bar represented in the lower left corner of the images corresponds to 200Â nm.
