RT-qPCR results of selected cancer-associated genes in tumors induced by MWCNTs or amosite asbestos. As compared to the control peritoneal tissues, mRNA expression was downregulated in Hrasls, Nr4a1, Fgfr4 and Ret (A–D) or upregulated in Rnd3 and Gadd45b (E, F) in all or most of 36 tumors. Scatter dot plots and statistical results were obtained using GraphPad Prism 9. Statistical significance was determined at P < 0.05, t–test for unpaired values, two-tailed.
